Our class talked with Ms. BJ about our life. Our class freely talked about how we spend our day in this Corona situation. Also, some of the students gave some feedbacks about this Online School. We also talked about our graduation, but she said we do not know yet because the school should follow the government’s decision.

  • (We also talked about a positive and negative aspect of online learning)

Take the quote from page 1 and create a visual digestion/exegesis of this sentence by Nancy Schlossberg.

“A transition can be said to occur if an event or non-event results in a change in assumptions about oneself and the world and thus requires a corresponding change in one’s behaviors and relationships.”

Transition = event or non-event => Change leads to change a person’s idea (assumption), and it leads to change a person’s behavior.

My personal experience.

Before I came to Indonesia, I thought Indonesia would be full of jungles because I only know Papua in Indonesia and I generalized it. However, after I came to Bandung, I realized that I made the wrong image of this country. This event (moving to Indonesia), changed my mindset (assumption). I thought Indonesia was an undeveloped country, but now I know that Indonesia has big cities, such as Jakarta and Bandung. This changing of assumptions also altered my behavior. Before I came to Indonesia, I didn’t want to live in Indonesia, so I tried not to go there. However, after I came here, I love to live in Indonesia, so I asked my parents to go back to live in Indonesia.
